Congratulations to the following Challenger students who are finalists in the essay contest sponsored by the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum and the Character Education Resource Center at the University of San Diego. They wrote a 600 word essay what honor, courage, and commitment meant to them. They were judged on the knowledge of the subject, creativity and originality, and the clarity of their writing. Thank you to English teachers, Mrs. Kaping and Mrs. Rostrats, for assisting their students through the process. Click here for more information about the essay. The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum is located in San Diego on the Marine Corp Air Station at Miramar and is open to the public. For more details, please visit their website.
We are proud of our hard-working students!
