Each year Challenger's Instrumental Music Program works toward performance trips to play in front of judges and interact with music students from around Southern California. It gives students a chance to hear critique from experienced judges, gain experience performing in front of a live audience, and bond with students who have the same interests. Both groups earned a trophy, a rating of "Superior" and positive comments from the judge. This year's trips, as part of the Music of the Parks program, took them to Knott's Berry Farm where they were able to have a little fun after their performances. Thank you to the Challenger Instrumental Music Association (CIMA), parent volunteers, and Mr. Ted Foster, the Instrumental Music Director, who work tirelessly to make these opportunities available for our students. We are very proud of our hard-working music students!
