Student Safety is THE #1 priority at Burbank Elementary.  In an effort to increase student safety, we are asking all families to enter and exit our campus through the MAIN entrance facing Julian Avenue.  We currently have a designated drop off zone on Julian Avenue.  This is for the safety of all students.  We have staff present to assist children exiting vehicles.  We ask that you use the designated zone for drop off and pick up only.  Please do not leave your vehicle unattended an any time.  Students can arrive as early as 7:30am.  Instruction begins at 8:00am.  For your convenience, the school parking lot is available until 8:00am.  The gate will re-open at 2:20pm.  Or, you can find parking in the surrounding neighborhood.  This NEW procedure will be implemented upon return from Winter Break: Tuesday, January 16, 2018.  Student Safety is THE #1 priority of our school and our district, and we thank you for your continued support.  You can learn more about student safety here: https://www.sandiegounified.org/school-safety.
