Parent, Teacher and Community Members Organization (PTCO)
Who we are and what we do
The PTCO is a group of passionate parents, teachers and community members who believe we can make a difference. This is our sixth year as a PTCO and we are looking forward to a great one!
Dear Adams Families.
I’d like to introduce myself, Nancy Palmer, to you. I am the new PTCO President.
PTCO stands for Parent Teacher Community Organization and we work with school faculty to provide enriching activities for the students, create family-friendly events, and fundraise to support learning activities outside of the school’s budget.
PTCO will also be hosting fun events like the Fall Festival, Turkey Trot, Movie Night, Family Prom, Spring Festival, and STEAM Open House.
The Adams Attitude is Work Hard, Be Kind, Dream Big, Make it Happen! This is exactly what we do.
We dream big: What opportunities would we love for our kids to experience and learn at school?
We work hard: We are researching different avenues to raise funds as well as organize many family events during the school year.
We do our best to be kind: We appreciate all the support from our volunteers, families and community.
We make it happen: We are proud to say that we can offer learning opportunities to all our students as well as fieldtrips and learning grants.
Adams PTCO website is a great way to help keep you informed on all the important and fun activities going on at our wonderful school!
PTCO meetings are held in the auditorium or room A2 on the second Monday of the month. This is where we discuss upcoming events, fundraising, and vote on decisions that make a difference at Adams. You have a voice on how we best serve our kids! We will have pizza (you don’t have to cook!) and childcare.
