LGBTQIA EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY
San Diego Unified School District's work in addressing LGBTQIA concerns is in accordance with the district's Nondiscrimination Policy and the California Student Safety and Violence Prevention Act of 2000. SDUSD is devoted to ensuring safe, supportive, and welcoming school sites from discrimination and harassment for all students. San Diego Unified School District is proud to support our lesbian, gay, bisexual/pansexual, transgender, questioning/queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA) students and families.

LGBTQIA Education and Advocacy functions under the Office of Youth Advocacy and is a completely integrated program within San Diego Unified School District that collaborates with other programs to make schools safer for all students including gay, lesbian, bisexual/pansexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, and asexual students.
