The Student Sexual Harassment Policy (español) shall be :

1.   sent to all schools with instructions that it must be posted a prominent location in the main administrative building or in another area of the school site hightly visible to students.  "Prominent location" means the main administrative building or other area where notices regarding the school's rules, regulations, procedures, and standards of conduct are posted.  (Education Code section 231.5).


2.   distributed at the beginning of each school year at Principal's Meetings and/or via email with instructions that it must posted in a prominent location near the principal's office.


3.   posted on the District's website in a "Sexual Harassment" link.  The "Title IX Educational Equity" page and the "Sexual Harassment" web pages will be reciprically linked, and available on the District's home page on the Nondiscrimination link. (Education Code section 221.61)


4.   included in any other notifications that are sent to parents/guardians at the beginning of each school year (Education Code 48980).


5.   be provided as part of any orientation program conducted for new students at the beginning of each quarter, semester or summer session (Education Code section 231.5).


6.   appear in any school or district publication that sets forth the school's or District's comprehensive rules, regulations, procedures and standards of conduct (Education Code section 231.5).


7.   provided to all employees and employee orginizations at the beginning of each school year (Education Code section 231.5).
