Harlem Grown brings NYC roots to Morse High School garden

For students and staff at Morse High School, the roots of their school's garden run deep - and now run all the way back to Harlem. Tony Hillery, founder of Harlem Grown, visited with Morse students this week to share his experience and the story of how he started urban farming in New York.

Morse's Club Interact, a student club sponsored by San Diego Rotary Club and focused on community service, hosted Hillery to their campus to learn more about how they can overhaul their garden and expand urban farming in their community.
