Posted: Thursday, June 15th 2017

For anyone who's been following the exciting graduation coverage from our schools on social media this week, you'll recognize the theme "Dream Big." You've probably also heard us mention that the Class of 2017 is an exceptional graduating group of young men and women, and that they will be doing BIG things after high school. Well, these grads from Mission Bay High School are making this catchphrase a reality.

Mission Bay seniors Emery Reyna and Alex Briski were named co-valedictorians for the Class of 2017, and both were featured speakers at yesterday's graduation ceremony. The girls shared a 4.55 grade point average, and are going on to top universities to continue their education.

Briski will be attending the University of California Berkeley, and Reyna will be at New York University this fall. These exceptional students, along with their classmate and salutatorian Jacob Cayetano, were recently featured in an article by Dave Schwab for the Beach & Bay Press.
