IN THE NEWS: Environmental Club at Patrick Henry High School students have designed, engineered and installed an aquaponics garden on the San Carlos campus. With a grant from ECOLIFE Conservation, plus support from the San Diego Downtown Kiwanis Club and Cox Communications, the students will study the minature ecosystem's use of water and how it might impact water conservation efforts and drought relief.

The aquaponics garden gives students a way to conserve water and still have green space on campus.
