Aquaponics at Clairemont High

Sustainable gardening is on the lesson plan for Clairemont High School and teachers Sean Stevenson and Laura Berlin, as they are partnering with Morgan Bailey, a Clairemont High alum with ECOLIFE Conservation, to build and operate an aquponics garden.

The biology, environmental sciences, chemistry, physics, business and health-sciences students will learn how an aquaponics garden creates its own ecosystem, where fish and plants coexist and thrive.
