About the Environmental Literacy Taskforce
ELT connects student leaders across San Diego Unified School District to design and lead custom environmental projects. From eco-art to sustainable engineering, activism to habitat restoration—ELT leaders create lasting change across San Diego.
Eligibility & Expectations
- ELT is for San Diego Unified students in grades 6–12 in 2026–2027.
- ELT students must execute a personalized service project.
- ELT offers virtual and in-person events, networking opportunities, and professional development. While optional, these are highly considered for ELT certification.
