The Cooper Family Juneteenth Celebration (https://www.cfjuneteenth.com/events) has been a proud San Diego tradition for over 50 years. This year’s celebration will take place on Saturday, June 20, at Memorial Park. The coordinators are currently seeking African American performers ages 4–25 to participate in a short Zoom audition for the opportunity to perform live at the June 20 Juneteenth Celebration. There is no cost to participate. They welcome a variety of talents, including music, spoken word, dance, instrumental performance, and other creative expressions.
Auditions are open now and will remain open until the end of May.
