Students in Grades 10-12 Can Apply for Rep. Juan Vargas’ Youth Policy Council CA-52
If your student is in grades 10–12 and lives in California’s 52nd District, they can apply to join a Youth Policy Council that helps students learn the legislative process and discuss issues impacting their community. Applications due Feb 8 at 11:59 p.m.
The Youth Policy Council is hosted by the Office of Congressman Juan Vargas and includes students selected from high schools in CA-52.
Participants will research and develop a piece of legislation and may have the opportunity to present/pitch their project to the Congressman.
There’s no GPA requirement and no prior experience needed—students just need to be passionate about helping their community and live in CA-52.
