The 2025 Special Olympics San Diego Youth Summit brings together students in special education from across the county to learn how to lead inclusive, school-based projects—while having fun and making new friends. Adult mentors/teachers will also attend learning sessions on how to better support and empower youth leaders.
When: Wednesday, November 5, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Where: Clairemont High School, 4150 Ute Drive, San Diego, CA 92117
Who: Students in special education (with their school mentor/teacher)
What to expect:
- Check-in: 9:00–9:30 AM
- Opening Session: 9:30–10:00 AM
- Student Breakout Sessions: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Pizza Lunch & “San Diego Nights” activity (students); lunch provided for teachers: 12:00–1:30 PM
- Closing Session: 1:30–2:00 PM
