The San Diego Unified School District Board of Education meets generally twice a month, on the second and fourth Tuesdays. The open (public) session begins at 5:00 p.m., in the Eugene Brucker Education Center Auditorium located at 4100 Normal Street, San Diego, CA

The San Diego Unified School District Board of Education wants to hear from you. Members of the public wishing to provide public testimony must, by 1:00 p.m. the day of the board meeting, either submit an online form at https://www.sandiegounified.org/forms/public-testimony-request or call the Board Services Office at (619) 725-5550. 

After 1:00 p.m., you may complete and submit Public Testimony Request Form electronically.  Computers are available in the lobby and iPads will be available at the reception desk in the lobby, outside of Room 2249, and on the table at the back of the auditorium on the day of the meeting. If translation services are required, please contact the Board Services Office at (619) 725-5550.

NO DEFERRAL OF TIME ALLOWED.

PUBLIC TESTIMONY SPEAKERS ARE LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM OF THREE MINUTES PER SPEAKER AND DEPENDING ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF SPEAKER REQUESTS RECEIVED, THE TIME MAY BE REDUCED TO TWO OR ONE MINUTE EACH.

THE BOARD REQUESTS THAT SPEAKERS FOCUS THEIR COMMENTS ON ISSUES AND NOT ON INDIVIDUALS.

PLEASE NOTE: if preferred board date does not appear in drop-down menu, electronic sign-up has closed. Sign up is still an option by submitting a Public Testimony Request Form via the iPin the auditorium or conference room prior to the start of the board meeting.
