March is a season of growth, and San Diego Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Fabi Bagula highlights the many ways that spirit is showing up across our schools. As campuses celebrate Read Across America, students throughout the district are strengthening their reading skills and opening doors to imagination, curiosity, and opportunity.
Dr. Bagula also shares an update from the Board of Education on efforts to address the rising cost of living for educators and staff, including nearly 3,000 units of affordable employee housing planned across six district-owned properties.
This month, we also honor Women’s History Month by celebrating the women who lead, teach, support, and inspire across our district. Families are also reminded that spring break will take place March 30 through April 3.
Thank you for your continued partnership and trust.
