The San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SDSCPA) is a tuition-free, college-preparatory public magnet school for grades 6–12, designed for students with a strong interest and passion for the arts. With nationally recognized arts training alongside rigorous academics, SDSCPA offers unique experiences that prepare students for college, conservatory, and careers in the creative industries. Students can audition for one of our six pre-conservatory art majors: Creative Writing, Music, Visual Media Art, Dance, Theatre, or Production and Design.
At SDSCPA, we believe that the arts are transformative and students thrive through access to diverse industry professionals, a passionate student-centered staff, and abundant opportunities for innovation, creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression. SDSCPA is open to students across San Diego County and is 100% school choice, so a completed school choice application and an audition are essential to be considered for enrollment.
