Nov. 3 – Literacy Network Meeting: Exploring Math Literacy & the New Math Curriculum
Families, educators, and community members are invited to come together to explore practical and evidence-based strategies to support math literacy and the new math curriculum – both at home and in the classroom! Let’s work in partnership to build strong foundations for every young reader.
Math literacy is more than solving equations – it’s about helping students think critically, reason through problems, and make sense of the world using numbers and patterns. Just like reading opens doors to understanding stories, math literacy opens doors to understanding how things work – whether it’s managing money, analyzing data, or exploring science and technology.
