Students in grades 3-8 and 11 take the California Smarter Balanced Assessments every Spring. This year, the California Dept of Education has changed the Achievement Level Descriptors.

If you have children who have taken this assessment in the past, you will notice that the results no longer say "Exceeded, Met, Nearly Met or Did not meet Standard".
