At San Diego Unified, we believe that every member of our school community matters—and that appreciation should be felt all year long. That’s why we created the LOVE Notes Initiative, a way to Live Our Values Every day, week, and month.
LOVE Notes is about recognizing the people who make our schools welcoming, safe, and inspiring places to learn and grow. Each month, nominations are entered into a randomized drawing, and selected winners receive a surprise visit from district leadership, along with a few tokens of appreciation from the community.
We invite you—our students and families—to help us spread the love. If there’s a staff member who has made a positive difference in your school experience, let them know by sending them a LOVE Note. Your words of appreciation are powerful and lasting.
