Join the District Advisory Council for Compensatory Education (DAC) Meeting – Feb. 18
Posted on 02/14/2026

The District Advisory Council for Compensatory Education (DAC) will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom.

The DAC is a districtwide group of parents, school staff, and community leaders that advises the Board of Education and district staff on Compensatory Education and Title I programs. The DAC helps ensure family voices are included in key planning and improvement work—such as providing input on the District’s LEA Plan, reviewing the Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy, and supporting the school review and improvement process.

Each school designates a representative from the School Site Council to serve as a voting member, with parents making up the majority. DAC members act as a two-way link between the DAC and their school communities, sharing updates and bringing questions, needs, and ideas back to the district.
