Take Action – Review the Family Resource Guide in Parent Portal
San Diego Unified has released the 2025-26 Family Resource Guide (formerly Facts for Parents). This important guide contains helpful resources for the school year, updates on district policies, and details about student rights and responsibilities. It also includes information about after-school programs, universal meals, and how student work may be shared or celebrated publicly.
What Families Need to Do:
- Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal to review the Family Resource Guide.
- Complete the one-question confirmation form inside the Parent Portal to confirm you have received the guide.
- Fill out the Universal Form (also included in the Parent Portal) to update permissions for media release, technology use, and restorative discipline acknowledgement.
- Please review the document and complete the forms by Friday, December 19, 2025.
Why this matters: Completing these required forms ensures your child can fully participate in classroom and school activities, including media coverage or opportunities for their work to be showcased.
