Starting Thursday, August 28, families of students who are English learners will receive an important Annual Parent Notification Letter. This letter provides details about your child’s English Learner (EL) status, such as whether they are classified as a Long-Term English Learner (LTEL) or At-Risk English Learner (AREL), their most recent score on the Summative ELPAC assessment, program placement, and information about reclassification and graduation.
If you have an email address on file: You will receive the letter directly by email through the PowerSchool Digital Document Delivery system.
If you do not have an email address on file: Your school’s English Learner Coordinator will print the letter and send it home with your child.
