San Diego Unified School District schools will open for in person instruction with a continuation of online instruction beginning Monday, April 12, 2021. PrimeTime will transition from virtual learning to in person programming on April 12, 2021, for a minimum of three hours daily, commencing at the end of the instructional school day schedule, for each day of in person instruction at the school site. PrimeTime will be offering academic and enrichment activities in person only.   

Program Schedule: 
PrimeTime will begin in person programming on Monday, April 12, 2021, and continue through the end of the school year, June 15, 2021.  The program will be offered afterschool four days per week upon the regular school days in person schedule and will operate for a minimum of three hours daily immediately following the end of the instructional school day.   

Student Eligibility: 
Priority for PrimeTime participation will be given to those students currently enrolled and participating in virtual PrimeTime with available spots being filled following the PrimeTime enrollment process. Students must attend school in person to attend PrimeTime on any given day. Families may apply for current year services to participate in PrimeTime and will be notified of acceptance as space becomes available.  To apply for the 2020-21 PrimeTime program please select your language preference English, Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese.

 PrimeTime Student to Staff Ratio: 14:1    

Program Policies and Procedures: 
PrimeTime staff will follow all SDUSD Health and Safety protocols for the safe return of students to in person programming. Staff and students will be required to wear a mask at all times, follow established social distancing guidelines and maintain the integrity of student cohorts/groups in PrimeTime at all times. All activities will take place within each individual PrimeTime cohort/group; there will be no large group assembly of students. 

Meals will be provided to students during PrimeTime within their assigned cohort/group and consumed in a designated outdoor area on campus following SDUSD guidelines.  

Parents/guardians will not be permitted onto campus to pick up students directly from program locations.  Parents/guardians will contact PrimeTime staff via telephone when they have arrived at the designated exit/pick-up gate.  Students will be signed out by program staff and released to their parent/guardian, ensuring line of sight supervision until child reaches parent/guardian. 

Academic Support Plans: 
Certificated teachers providing online PrimeTime tutoring and academic instruction will transition to onsite support.  

Health and Safety:
PrimeTime Staff will conduct visual health checks as students arrive into program.  Students who exhibit signs of illness will be separated from other students and parents will be called for immediate pick up. PrimeTime staff will have access to the PrimeTime Nurse via telephone during program hours as needed. PrimeTime staff will communicate with the school administrator and PrimeTime Nurse as needed to ensure appropriate protocols are followed when students become ill during program.
