PowerSchool/Edgenuity Interface
Edgenuity has developed an interface to help us keep student and teacher data updated, using information from PowerSchool. The interface is still in its infancy and will be enhanced in the future to include additional features. At this time, teachers will need to be responsible for placing students in courses within Edgenuity.
How to get Access to Edgenuity
Effective Wednesday, September 2, 2015, new security roles will be added to PowerSchool which will be used to identify teachers and staff who should have access to Edgenuity. To request access to Edgenuity, please refer to the job aid How to Request Access to Edgenuity. It is required that school staff attend training prior to being given access to Edgenuity.
There is no need to submit a request for access to Edgenuity if you attended training in August or September. Teachers and staff who attended training in August and September will be provided with access to Edgenuity prior to start of school.
Teachers, staff, and students with access to Edgenuity can login with their Active Directory account.
Please note, if you previously had access to Edgenuity, you may need to "link" your account the first time you login. You will need to enter your Edgenuity username and password to link your account. If you aren't sure what your username and password are, you can use the forgot password feature. If you need further assistance, please contact the Help Desk at (619) 209-HELP (4357).
Enroll In A Class At Another School
Effective Wednesday, September 2, 2015, the Enroll in A Class At Another School page will be updated in PowerSchool. The Enroll in A Class At another School page has been redesigned to make it easier for schools to use. After selecting a School and Term, a list of classes will be displayed. To encourage communication between schools, the school phone number will be displayed.
The Enroll in A Class At Another School page will only allow you to schedule students into classes which are not yet full. A class is full if the Close Section at Max checkbox is turned on and the number of students scheduled for the class is at or above the Maximum Enrollment.
