SANDAPP's goals are to improve health outcomes for pregnant and parenting adolescents and their children; increase the rate of high school graduation; enhance parenting skills; prevent child abuse, neglect and family violence; promote youth development; and assist to prevent second unplanned pregnancies. Services are provided to both female and male teen parents.
MISSION
To enhance the health, educational potential, and healthy relationships of pregnant and parenting adolescents, their children, siblings and parents by promoting a collaborative, integrated support system.
SERVICES
SANDAPP provides case management services to pregnant and parenting youth throughout San Diego County. We have 7 Health Service Case Workers (Case Managers) with 3 Case Managers out-stationed at the following school and community sites:
- Garfield High School
- Victoria Summit Community School in San Ysidro
- Chula Vista PMP
- Grossmont High School
- Twain High School
- Lindsay Blended Community School
- Public Health Nurse Center in Oceanside
