In-person auditions for The San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SDSCPA) are happening soon!
If you or someone you know is eager to join our nationally recognized, award-winning creative and performing arts community for the 2027-2028 school year, now’s the time to make your move! Discover where creativity can take you at SDSCPA through six areas of artistic study: Creative Writing, Dance, Design & Production, Music, Theatre, and Visual Media Art. Whether you or someone you know is a storyteller, writer, dancer, maker, creator, musician, singer, actor, or visual artist, this is the place to grow your craft, pursue your passion, and find your artistic home.
When:
Middle School Auditions: Saturday, September 26th from 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (for incoming 6th-8th)
High School Auditions: Saturday, October 3rd from 8:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. (for incoming 9th-12th)

ABOUT SDSCPA: The San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SDSCPA) is a tuition-free, college-preparatory public magnet school for grades 6–12, combining nationally recognized arts training with rigorous academics. Students develop their craft and creative voice through access to industry professionals, dedicated teachers, and opportunities for innovation, critical thinking, and self-expression—preparing them for college, conservatory, and careers in creative industries. SDSCPA welcomes students from across San Diego County. We are 100% school choice and audition-based so a completed school choice application and successful audition are required for consideration for enrollment.
