Help shape the future of affordable housing in the San Diego region.
The San Diego Regional Housing Finance Agency (SDRHFA) is seeking nine (9) experienced and committed individuals to serve on its Advisory Committee.
Established under Senate Bill 440 (SB 440), SDRHFA works to expand and preserve affordable housing opportunities throughout the region, with a focus on ensuring residents can live near jobs, schools, and transit.
Guided by a vision of a San Diego where everyone has access to a quality, affordable home, the agency advances sustainable housing solutions that support both current and future generations. Through coordinated investments in housing, education, and transportation, the agency aims to strengthen communities, reduce displacement, and promote equitable access to opportunity throughout San Diego County.
Application Period
April 28 through May 31, 2026.
Applications due: May 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT.
Selected applicants will be invited to participate in virtual interviews for the week of June 1 - June 5, 2026.
Who Should Apply
We are seeking to recruit eight members and one representative from a Moving to Work agency to serve on the Advisory Committee. Ideal candidates should have experience in at least one of the three categories of affordable housing, including rental and owner-occupied housing:
- Housing Finance
- Housing Development
- Housing Management
