APIDA Youth Summit 2026 — Rising Tides, Rising Voices

APIDA Youth Summit 2026 — Rising Tides, Rising Voices
Posted on 03/21/2026

AP season is coming, but it's not here yet!!! Before the grind kicks in, take a day for yourself.

Join us for the 2nd Annual APIDA Youth Summit: "Rising Tides, Rising Voices" on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 — a free, full day of joy, community, and learning at San Diego City College, just before the grind officially begins. We planned it this way on purpose. You deserve this.

This event is open to ALL San Diego Unified students in grades 6–12 — you don't have to identify as APIDA to come. APIDA stands for Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American, an accronym that brings together East Asian, Southeast Asian, Pacific Islander, and South Asian communities. But this day is for everyone who wants to learn, connect, and celebrate.

Spend the day connecting with students from across the district through APIDA Identity Workshops led by student leaders, College & Career workshops with college students and community professionals, Cultural Wealth workshops celebrating arts, culture, and community knowledge, and a resource fair and community lunch.

Come explore who you are, build real friendships across schools, and celebrate APIDA communities, then go crush those exams.
