We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2nd San Diego Unified APIDA (Asian Pacific Islander Desi American) Student Board! This is a unique leadership opportunity for middle and high school students to engage in advocacy, community building, and civic leadership.
Student Board members will:
• Learn about APIDA communities and local advocacy efforts
• Lead district initiatives, including the APIDA Youth Summit
• Develop skills in public speaking, networking, and leadership
Eligibility:
• Must be a current San Diego Unified middle or high school student
• Interest in APIDA identity, culture, and advocacy

Participation also supports eligibility for the State Seal of Civic Engagement, which recognizes students for their leadership and impact.
