Posted on 02/28/2026

For the first time ever, Logan Memorial has launched a Girls Varsity Basketball program for the 2025–2026 school year, officially competing in the CIF San Diego Section. In just its inaugural season, the Lady Eagles—led by Head Coach Tristan Lamb—have not only entered the conversation but have quickly become one of the most exciting teams in San Diego County.

In their first year of CIF competition, the Lady Eagles have compiled an impressive 18–7 overall record and are currently ranked 2nd in Division 5. With just a few games left, Logan Memorial is looking to finish with a 20-8 record with momentum going into the playoffs.

At the center of this historic run is Amor Heredia, who has firmly placed Logan Memorial High School in the spotlight. Amor, a standout junior, is averaging an incredible 34.6 points per game, ranking 1st in San Diego County, 1st in California, and 6th in the entire nation. She is also leading San Diego County with 6.6 steals per game, showcasing her impact on both ends of the floor.

Supporting the charge is Natalie Anderson, who is averaging 13.3 points per game, currently 8th in San Diego County, providing consistent scoring and leadership alongside Amor.
