CGCS-Bernard Harris Scholarship Program 2022

These scholarships are designed specifically for African American and Hispanic graduating seniors this spring in Council school districts who plan to pursue college studies in one of the STEM-related fields. The deadline to apply is May 6, 2022.

U-T Community Journalism Scholars Program 2022

For its 11th annual U-T Community Journalism Scholars Program, the San Diego Union-Tribune will hire six college-bound high school students of different cultural and economic backgrounds from throughout the county to learn about and produce community journalism this summer. Successful candidates will be paid San Diego minimum wage. The primarily remote/virtual program will take place Thursday, June 16, through Wednesday, July 13. Applications are due on or before May 12.

Scholarship Guidance

There are 15 Scholarship Programs that will give out more than 279 Individual Scholarship Awards during the 2022 school year. Students in the San Diego Unified School District are eligible for all awards.
