As an employee, you are required to report sex-based harassment and sex discrimination when you receive a report, observe or have knowledge of an incident per AR 5145.7
This reporting requirement is not the same as filing a formal complaint. The targeted individual has the right and autonomy to decide whether they want to file a formal complaint requesting an investigation.
Please, do not tell students and parents that your report will lead to an investigation by the District. However, you can tell them that you are reporting it to our office to make us aware of the incident and provide them with our contact information.
Not all sexual harassment falls under Title IX. Please review the "Definitions" page prior to submitting a report.
