San Diego Unified School District

Regular business meetings of the San Diego Unified School District Board of Education are generally held twice a month, on the second and fourth Tuesdays. Unless otherwise posted on the agenda, the board begins their meeting in closed session at 3:00 p.m., in Room 2249, and the open (public) session begins at 5:00 p.m., in the Eugene Brucker Education Center Auditorium, located at 4100 Normal Street, San Diego, California. Special meetings may be called to discuss a limited topic.

MEETING STRUCTURE

San Diego Unified Board of Education meetings are generally held twice a month, on the second and fourth Tuesdays. The typical structure of a meeting at the specified time is as follows:

• 3:00 p.m.*
  Board meets for closed session in Room 2249.

• 5:00 p.m.*
  Board reconvenes in open (public) session in the auditorium.

• End of Meeting
  Public Testimony is heard for items not on the agenda. There is a 3-minute maximum per speaker.
